My name is Martina Holmgren, and I’m the founder of Hestar og Fjöll, a family-run farm in the south of Iceland. Together with our three children, we are the sixth generation living here at Mid-Grund.

Hestar og Fjöll offers several unique week tours, available during the riding season from spring to autumn. You can bring your own horse or ride one of our well-trained Icelandic horses. Each night we stay in cozy mountain huts, sharing meals and stories while the horses rest nearby. Tours range from 3 to 6 days and are designed for riders who want an unforgettable horseback riding experience in Iceland’s most stunning landscapes.
